In late 2010, Yahoo! Careers contracted Lyda Interactive to overhaul its 15 year-old talent acquisition portals. Lyda determined that the goal of the new platform would be to tell the true stories of Yahoo! employees, versus a traditional search engine for jobs & stage for brand marketing.
With 32 offices worldwide, nearly all Yahoo! locations had different recruitment portals, some dating back to the 1990s. Lyda began designing a uniform template for Yahoo! that could easily be rolled out by all 32 locations in varying languages.
Lyda created a sleek website showcasing employee testimonials, internship experiences & top-tier products that Yahoos design, build & maintain. To ensure that all 32 countries' content stayed up-to-date, we designed the platform in a blog-like format. We also recommended that Yahoo! create video testimonials of key employees. Lyda partnered with photographer Curtis Myers to capture the many compelling stories.
Yahoo! launched an engaging recruitment platform for each of its offices worldwide. And we're proud to say that it originated with us.

In December of 2008, a small silicon valley mobile payments company contacted Lyda Interactive to help establish their brand identity. Originally given the task of designing a website, Lyda also began creating all forms of marketing collateral for the little company called Zong. As Zong became a leader in mobile payments, Lyda Interactive's responsibilities grew in tandem.
In 2009, Zong became the trusted mobile payments provider for Facebook. By 2010, Zong had signed 250 mobile carriers in 45 countries. Mobile payments were officially a global force. Throughout this exponential growth period, Lyda Interactive created all website design, animations, demos, payment process flows, tradeshow booths, buttons, posters, chotchkies—heck, we even created their pens.
On July 7, 2011, Zong was acquired by PayPal (eBay) for $240 Million.
Helping Zong achieve this paramount level of success gives us goose bumps.

Please join us in welcoming the very talented Namrata (aka "Nam") to Lyda Interactive. Nam graduated from Emory University & continued onto Parsons The New School for Design, where she earned her Masters in Design & Technology. Though born and raised in Augusta, Georgia—if you ask her if she plays golf, she'll politely reply "No." Namrata's true passion is creating stunning graphics and animations with After Effects, Photoshop & Flash.
Early on, her family taught her that hard work was a most valuable asset in life. Nam has two sisters, one a Doctor, the other a Doctorate. If that isn't enough to live up to, her parents are both Research Scientists! Lyda Interactive is proud to welcome Namrata into its hallowed halls, where, as an Associate Creative Director, she'll earn a PhD in Lyda-isms.
